If you are into Keto Coffee, I think you should also try  Mushroom Coffee!

I guess everyone knows that I am so into coffee.

Like, I can’t start my day without my BPC! (that’s Bullet Proof Coffee)

Lately, though, my mom has been warning me about my coffee making me so hyper.

And she wants me to try her coffee.

Which seems weird because her coffee is made of coffee beans.

But with mushroom.

Weird.

For me, coffee is the best part of waking up and something I really, badly need to have. (Especially after a late night catching up with Riverdale.)  Besides, there has been a lot of research claiming that coffee is good.

Now, my mom is claiming that mushroom coffee is better.

For you guys on Keto, I figured Mushroom Coffee would be a good alternative for the BPC.  I still have to read more about it, though.

I am initially trying it out for a few weeks and hope it won’t whack me out of my Keto lifestyle, but from what I have read (and what my mom claims), mushroom coffee is very promising, health-wise.

But,what is Mushroom Coffee?

Essentially, mushroom coffee is adding dried mushrooms, which have been boiled, and then liquefied into an extract to coffee.

The important thing is that the mushrooms must be cooked in order to actually reap the mushroom health benefits and extra nutrients and minerals.

So Mushroom Coffee is coffee with mushroom.

It is like you are drinking your regular coffee, BUT with mushrooms added in.

But why would we add mushroom to coffee???

In a hurry? Here are my favorite mushroom coffee:

Benefits of Mushroom Coffee

Mushroom Coffee has an Anticancer Benefit

Studies have constantly proven that mushroom is made up of components proven to actually stimulate the immune system, making the body fight cancer cells.

In fact, back in 2015, a research was conducted wherein when chaga mushroom was added to coffee, one of the chaga mushroom’s component – ergosterol peroxide – exhibited profound anti-cancer activities in a person’s colorectal cholesterol cell lines!

Did you know that the chaga mushroom has reportedly been reported as the most potent antioxidant on planet Earth?

  • By putting chaga mushroom into your coffee, you will be able to ward off common colds and other forms of sicknesses. You will also not get sick as much if you drink chaga mushroom coffee.
  • You can also expect to experience cleansing and purifying of your body from the inside out.
  • Drinking chaga coffee can also calm down your nervous system naturally.
  • And various researches also claim that chaga coffee has quite a positive effect on the liver as well as the lungs!
  • Also , chaga coffee has reportedly been able to help heal various forms of stomach ulcers and diseases,  stimulate your immune system, help to reduce blood sugar levels, and help to fight diabetes!

It is recommended that you drink at least one or two cups of chaga mushroom coffee each day for the added health benefits.

Mushroom Coffee is Complete with Antioxidants

We all know how important antioxidants are to our body because they help fight off illness and other forms of diseases, plus it makes us really pretty and glowing.

Most of those awesome antioxidants come from fresh, organic fruits and vegetables.

So our parents are right, after all!  Eating our fruits and veggies give us awesome health benefits!

What is more awesome – especially for coffee drinkers like me – is that coffee has rich anti-oxidant content.

And that’s just speaking of regular coffee!

Mushroom Coffee Aids in Digestive and Diabetic Health

When your digestive system is not functioning well, it sucks right?

You see, it all stems back to what we place into our bodies.

Whatever we eat will eventually have an effect on us in our later years.

Having a well-functioning digestive system means that you are strong – from the inside out!

And here is how your mushroom coffee could help.

Mushrooms are  very high in polysaccharides, especially the bioactive ones called beta-glucans, and sometimes they will be referred to as homopolysaccharides.

What do all these special elements do?

Well, the special polysaccharides will act as prebiotics within your digestive system which will directly help to boost your digestive health in so many different ways.

Keep in mind that these beta-glucans have also been proven in several animal studies to initially reduce body weight, glucose sugar levels, even cholesterol and triglycerides in mice which are diabetic.

Also, these same beta-glucans also proved to have quite the encouraging effect upon insulin receptors, which was equal to enhanced insulin sensitivity.

When it comes to getting better digestion, make sure you fully cook your mushrooms and then add to your brew of coffee. Don’t just drop an uncooked mushroom into your coffee, always make sure it’s cooked first.

Remember that mushrooms are a perfect source of calcium, vitamin B, and D, as well providing you with a lot of potassium. Drinking mushroom coffee first thing in the morning will get your day and life out to the perfect, feel-good start.

Focusing Without Being Jittery

The result – a calmer,focused you!
