Vitamin C-Skin Lightening That Is Great For Removing Dark Spots
Last Updated on July 24, 2020 by Paula
Removing brown spots have become an obsession of mine. Medical procedures are done inside dermatologist’s clinic using different acids and bleaching substances, bleaching creams, peeling creams and exfoliators. Problem is, I am only 18. With such harsh ingredients, my mom swears these products will ruin my skin. A visit to her dermatologist gave me the answer to my “spotty” problem. Vitamin C.
The nice doctor with flawless skin told me that one of the substances which is:
- Safe,
- Good for the skin and
- Can effectively remove dark spots without affecting the skin’s cellular structure
Is Vitamin C serum/cream! Hmm, that was why I saw this on my mom’s dresser: Vitamin C is my solution to removing my brown spots! Its action is to inhibit the production of melanin. Melanin, which I have talked a lot a few posts back is the substance which gives the skin its darker color. Since Vitamin C sort of lessens the production of melanin, new layers of radiant, glowing skin will be revealed a few weeks after the Vitamin C treatment. And as Vitamin C starts to inhibit the production of melanin, it will also start to increase the amount of collagen synthesized by your skin. Collagen is that substance responsible for youthful, firm skin! As Vitamin C synthesizes more collagen, the more your skin will have that smooth-looking, radiant glowing skin! Oh, and there’s more! Vitamin C also helps in synthesizing more Vitamin E and you know what they say about Vitamin E! It reduces the damaging effects of free radicals on the skin. It also makes the skin recover faster after a particularly “bad skin episode” like breakouts. I am really loving this Vitamin C treatment. I wake up to clear, brighter skin every day, and hopefully, when I get to be in the middle ages, I will still look like I am in my 20s!
Here are really good Vitamin C serums you can try:
