Ready to get rid of redness with Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment?

Your skin can be a lot of things: smooth, dull, bright, glowy…

But how about red?! (Like me? Sometimes?)

Yeah, I know you’ve been there before—it’s okay!

With Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment your distressed skin will get the healing care it needs with this green-to-beige color correcting cream that reduces redness and shields from environmental aggressors (i.e., the sun!).

I got to admit. I got this Hulk (hehe! Because it’s green!) cream because it is soo effin’ popular it got 26.9 M views on Tiktok (and counting) that I just got to go with what is trending!

However, I loved it so much, in all honesty, that using foundation is a thing of the past for me now.

Reduces redness and shields your sensitive skin from environmental aggressors

Inspired by the true legend of Asian tigers rolling in centella asiatica (a.ka. tiger grass) to heal their battle wounds, this all-in-one treatment includes a color-changing capsule to cover blemishes and neutralize redness, restoring fatigued skin for a vibrant appearance.

Heals sensitive skin exhibiting inflammation, irritation or discomfort

Free from 10 harmful ingredients such as artificial fragrance or color, denatured alcohol, triethanolamine, sulfate-based surfactants, triclosan, mineral oil, propylene glycol, and DEA that causes skin irritation.

Product Promises:

  • Prevents redness and skin irritation with SPF 30 (mine was SPF 40) protection.
  • Provides a color correcting cream that reduces redness and protects skin from UV light.
  • Evens out skin tone
  • Keeps your sensitive skin healthy looking and radiant all day long.

Here’s what I got:

I got Dr. Jart Cicapair Re-Cover from Sephora.

It came in a (really)tiny jar (around 15 ml/0.50 fl. oz.). Greenish cream scent is fragrance-free, with SPF 40. It cost me around P830.00 for the little 15 ml jar. The bigger 55 ml jar comes at P2,890.00.

By the way, the product I got from Sephora has a different name, but this is the same product as the “Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Cream” in the US website. The Korean version of the product name is “Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Derma Green-Cure Solution Recover Cream”.

Oh, another difference. The one I got has an SPF 40.

My thoughts:

Before using Dr. Jart+ Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment, it is important to moisturize your face first especially if your skin type leans on dry.

Cicapair on my hand (I got red rashes on my arm)
my red rashes became almost unnoticeable

This thingie can be such a hassle to blend all over your face. You have to make sure that you have to spread it evenly across your face. I sort of gently pat-pat-pat the cream on my face to warm the cream.

It leaves a white cast …

The cream will change from green-to-beige as you massage it on your skin, and as it does that, it cancels your red skin.

It is not greasy at all and using it for over a week, I guess my skin got better, like less redness and it was not sensitive as it was before.

Also, it made me look good in selfies, like I was glowing or something.

I use this on no-makeup days (which is like everyday because I really hate having makeup on my face mask!) and people say this can be used as a primer on days you have to put on some makeup.

This product would work best with people who have ruddy but fair complexion.

I am Asian, yellow toned and kind of fair, but still, like with a lot of physical sunscreens, it leaves a white cast on my face which I sort of did not like. It made me look pallid. (I think it works better on persons with cool tone skin.)You really need to add MAC Black Cherry Extra Dimension Blush  Look Don’t Touch to lessen out the paleness.

If you are having some sort of flaky skin (from Retin-A or retinol use or healing eczema), the cream will highlight the dryness. Not pretty…

Will I buy again?

The product is “a little goes a long way” kind of cream, which probably justifies its high cost, but will I ever buy again?

I probably would, because it is really healing my sensitive skin. The cost is what is stopping me lol

Rating: 🌻🌻🌻 (3 out of 5 sunflowers)

In conclusion,

This color correcting treatment is an absolute lifesaver for days when your skin is looking less than its best. Apply this green-to-beige formula before foundation and watch as blemishes become hidden and redness disappears. Your skin will look even better with this SPF40 protection from UV light built in!
