There are a few ideas that you can try in order to create a space for children to play or for guests to use when they visit as well as a few unique ideas that you might not think about.

If you have teenagers, then you probably know that they like playing video games or hanging out with friends while watching videos.

Turn the attic into a space with a video game console set up against one wall and a large television so that they can play when they want to get away from the rest of the family.

Paint the lower portions of the wall to look like a football field, and add a few team logos on the walls to create the ultimate game room.

When you have a new baby in the home, you might not know where to put the nursery, especially if you hadn’t planned on anymore children after buying the house.

You can remodel the attic to create a new room for one of the older children so that they have privacy, or you can make the attic a large nursery so that you can spend time with the baby. Add a skylight window to the ceiling to provide a gentle glow in the room.

Position a rocking chair in one corner, and add all of the furniture that you need along the angled walls.

Create a room where you can sneak off to when you’re tired or need a bit of relaxation.

Add a wall of books so that you have something to read along with a comfortable chair or couch. You can even add a wet bar so that you have something to drink while watching television or reading a good book.
