My Broken IPad and My Money Mistake

As I was looking at my facebook timeline, I saw this image:
It is taunting me. Why?
Because, I, supposedly on my road to fitness, posting financial freedom articles and loving Suze Orman, Robert Kiyosaki, Larry Gamboa and Bo Sanchez, succumbed to a moment of weakness.
It was an enormous moment of weakness, actually.
My old iPad 2 broke:
It broke bad. I know…
But it is still working…
Without thinking if I could get it repaired (besides,I think it would cost a lot I am better off buying one), I did go ahead and got a new iPad mini.
On the same day it broke. And on credit card.
I know, Suze. I am so sorry…I may not have bought a Maserati Quattroporte, but I know I should be DENIED!
But, on the brighter side, I am loving my new gadget and of course, installing apps like those from www.iolo.com .
And of course, it is much easier and convenient to be reading my e-books and checking on my stocks with this much more streamlined tablet.
Plus, that moment of weakness made me resolve not to commit the same blunder again (as I run on my mind how much interest I would pay on my mindless purchase if I fail to pay it in full).
Gusto ko naman bumili ng Galaxy S4…pero I held back…di pa naman kailangan hehehe. My phone is still working fine. It's okay naman to use credit card, just as long as you know you can pay for it on the due date or dates if installment. Pero as much as you can, only use credit cards on extreme cases hehehe…gaya nyan nabasag ang Ipad 2 lol! Am sure you're learning naman sis. 🙂
PS…pink talaga case ng Ipads hehehe..from the old to the new hehehe…
Ako din I love my iPad mini! I bought it cash last Christmas. Pero I made a recent money mistake, hindi ko pa narereceive yung item. hahah. But it made me more determined with my resolve to be more money wise – and resist other temptation. hehe. pero panira ang MIBF, baka hindi ko talaga ma resist yun.
I think it was perfectly justified to replace your broken iPad. It wouldn't make sense to repair it as the cost would not be worth it. Enjoy your iPad guilt-free. 🙂

I am not courageous enough to buy gadgets impulsively. It always needs to be reviewed over and over and over again. Haha
oh, that ipad 2 sure looked bad, tsk tsk. eliz is right, i'm sure if you had it repaired, you'll end up paying more, the money won't be worth it.
Wow! I wish I can get my self a samsung galaxy note 8.0.. yun ang wish ko ngayon kaso hindi talaga pwede gawin priority.. hehehe
Oh no, what happened to it? Hay naku, ako talaga, even though I enjoy shopping, I could never buy gadgets on impulse. Clothes pa pwede. Pero gadgets? It takes me a year to buy one, promise! I'm sure you learned a lot from this, Marie. We're still learning naman eh, don't be too hard on yourself.
PS: How's the iPad Mini? Is it good? I wanna buy one for myself. On Christmas. Of 2014. Hahaha
Why naman its badly broken? What happened? I have had any gadget like that yet. Siguro later na.

The new Ipad Mini is nice , Marie:) Free yourself from guilt, the repair of badly broke one is about the same price with brand new one anyway. I'm sure you'll pay it on time..:)

I want to buy a Desktop or Laptop naman. This is in preparation for my dream to work at home. Kaya lang nagdalawang isip ako. I just don't know, I can't find the right one for me din kasi. And cute ng case nya sis, I love pink!
Tempting talaga pag may credit card. Pero if you need it naman, I think madali mo lang mababawi ang ROI 🙂

ipad mini is way way portable and lighter so it's easy to bring it everywhere.
i really want to buy an ipad coming holiday season a gift for myself.. but i dont think i cant afford it.. i just have a lot of extra expenses right now and i paying a loan.. 🙁

my ipad2 is still in perfect condition but lately i have been thinking of getting a kindle. hehe! hayyy, gadget lusts are just so hard to resist noh?
i haven't regretted my ipad mini purchase. i love it for it's light weight. the older ipad2/1 hurt my back when i bring it in my bag. 😀 imho, that is a good buy for you. 🙂

If I went through a lot about spending the way I liked…the way I loved for modern gadgets, I think…I'm crazy now. But because of my experienced in prioritizing things in life, I quit for that matter.
Well, it's unfortunate that the old one broke and you had to get a new one but if you're using it, it's money well spent.
Ouch, sakit naman at nabasag hehehe. I could never do blogging on iPad. My iPad just sits here useless lol. I prefer my desktop, it's easier although I can't take it anywhere.
